Hedgerow Wine Making

There is something uniquely satisfying about making your own wines, and on this course you’ll be shown just what an amazing array of things can be made into delicious wines, and go through the winemaking process step by step. We’ll look at the equipment and materials you’ll need, some tricks and common mistakes, and in the process, start a hedgerow wine on its way.

You’ll leave with the knowledge to create your own wine using foraged and basic materials such as sugar, and become part of a tradition that stretches back millenia. Participants automatically become part of our homebrew club.

Tea and coffee available throughout the day, participants should bring something to eat at lunchtime.  We’ll be sampling some wines should they be ready.
